RULE EMPHASIS HAS A HUGE IMPACT
With the new emphasis on the same old rules, most fans and players may be a bit disgruntled and discouraged.
Not to worry, everyone seems to be in the same boat including the referees. It is a huge responsibility to keep an eye on
what some may perceive as petty infractions, but in the end we have to respect the rules and regulations of Hockey Canada,
so go easy on the guys in stripes folks, they are only doing their job to keep our kids safe and allow the mobility talents
to shine through.
For those who have not seen them, here is a link to some videos put out by Hockey Canada on what you can and
cannot do in terms of infractions. Take a look at them, even if you have already done so. It never hurts to refresh one's
mind.
